After serving for 20 years in law enforcement, I developed a deep fascination with the dynamics of conflict and its profound impact on our society. Policing immersed me in all kinds of conflicts, where I focused on developing and refining effective communication strategies for engaging with individuals facing mental health challenges, victims of crime, and even those experiencing their very worst day. My experiences have taught me that, in the midst of conflict, there is an opportunity for individuals to grow, shine and emerge as their best selves.
